Evolusia, the head doesn't have anything to do with it. It's not even in the cooling airstream of many 50 size helis. I promise you the difference is nearly 100% in the carb.

The blue head was designed for extra cooling, but that doesn't mean you can run the motor any leaner. Your needle setting is pretty much dictated by the percentage of Nitro in your fuel. Compared to 10% your needles will have to be opened much more with 30%. Plus the motor has only so much time to take in the fuel. The head may make a tiny differece (very tiny) but your biggest gain will be the better carb!If you skip me I can't play!

I have both the sxh and the hyper engine with 60b carbs on both...I'm running 30% fuel in them and both shows slight difference in temperature. But both showed a big difference in power once changed to these carbs...Everybody in the field started to do it after I tried mine 3 years ago......
