Best of luck Mrs. Taz. Let us know how your first flight with it goes... If at first you don't succeed... save up for another one... |

Gals (and everyone else) you are going to crash! Part of the deal. He wont be mad, after all hes crashed several times by now. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. What you need to learn is how to smile while walking out to the "pile"
Welcome and good luck.RIP ROMAN |

A Raptor 30 will be a great heli for you to start with... good for you!Bigger helis are easier to fly... and thus learn on. Parts are reasonable for a Raptor. You will also get great fuel mileage out of a 30... so the fuel costs won't break the bank.Defenietly let us know what you think/ how you did after you get your first flights in!!You are most likely going to have the adrenaline pumping and a case of the shakes... totally normal... I still do.If you can do it... try getting someone to buddy box with you... that helps take some of the edge off |

I did my first hovering this week, it wasn't for very long and it was a little shakey but at least I did. I hovered my husband's electric 450, he said the raptor will be better. It did feel good |

Thats great. I did much better when I got it above my head (more time to correct). The bigger disc on the raptor will make it a lot easier. Shakes are replaced with a rush when you make each step.RIP ROMAN |

You go girl! It will get easier and the Raptor will be a lot easier than the 450. I still get the shakes on the first few monments of the first flight of the day after that I relax and let it flow.Larry Rogers - R/C Helicopter Pilot |

Thanks for the welcome and the encouragement on my new flying. My first heli will be an ergo30, old but will serve the purpose for me to hover. It is almost ready for me to hover. I will have hubby take pics when I have in the air. |

Today was my first flight on a real helicopter, I was nervous but no crashes. I think I just need to get the nervous feeling gone and I will be ok. I did enjoy it however.Heli pilots can do it backwards |
