The Drop

It is indeed strange. You could be right on the down draft. I do not belevie is power related since it sometimes sits down and then immediately take back off again. That said I do not remember it happening for the first few months. IT is not radio becuase the antenna is dressed properly and distance involved are 25 feet.

hmm my quark did this repeatly also!

flies great indoors.... take it outside calm/no wind, lift off and at about 4 feet it drops and tips over...new set of blades does same thing....

I havent flown it since but I think its due to the mild settings. its on beginner mode and now that I mostly hot dog this lil heli its too stable for outside work...My guess.

I was aircrew on H-53 and I also dont think it is settling with power/vortex ring effect.

I am gonna change a link rod and dip switch if i remem right from the manual..

Are ya'll quark doing this on hot setting??
