I'm running Zippy/Turnigy 2650's (ish) and they *just* *fit*

You may need an aftermarket canopy to get something that big to fit.

Can you lower the battery tray, drill some more holes lower down depending on the width of the 3300, if they fit between the frames that is.

lowering the tray in the frame is the normal fix for larger batteries. Its really easy, takes about 10 minutes, just be sure not to let the carbon fiber dust get in your motor or esc as it can cause a short.

I took out some body screws and I can get it to drop in,i'm going to need a **** load of washers. All the way back to the motor mount,I'll have to space that to.Then I can drop the battery in and fit the canopy on,I dont know if I'll use the tray or just find some way of securing maybe with straps......

Cut the side frames down to the bottom of the top slotted holes beneath the battery plate and they will fit. Makes for a clean mod.

I did no modifications at all to my 500 and I am running Outrage 6 cell 3000mAh battery packs. Fits a little tight but nothing to worry about.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

it fits without cutting, but snug, i was worried about it expanding and cracking the frame..

That’s something that everyone should do when they get a new kit before they install the frames. Just cut it down to the first slot and drill the holes for the tray.

That way you will have much more flexibility when it comes to battery selection.
