Currently working on a scale project. My Hirobo Freya tail boom is too long for my fuselage. Before I embark on major surgery to my fuselage, I am trying to source a smaller belt. The Freya belt is 1800mm long (complete loop) or 900mm when measured lengthways.
I am looking for a drive belt that is 1750mm (875mm measured lengthways)
If anyone has a spare belt in their flightbox that they can measure, I'd appreciate it.
If you can match the size that i'm after please let me know make and model of heli that it is for, so that I can buy some.
Failing that, the dremel will have to come out

The Raptor 50 belt is a tad short at 845mm (looped). If you can use one, it would be a way of reducing the amount of necessary cut to that beautiful fuselage (as opposed to using your Freya belt). Note, however, that not only belt length but tooth pitch should match. That Raptor belt has a 5 teeth/inch pitch.

that fuse is for a counterclockwise blade spin your heli spins clockwise you have to chop it and flip it anyways just extend it then

Thanks for the input guys. The tail just needs flipping over and tx and gyro reversing for tail rotor mod.
Going to try a drive belt supplier tommorrow and see if they can match something. Alternatively, there are drive belt suppliers that will make custom size belts.
I would do it myself, but you need specialised machinery to complete the join.

What? Just rotate the tail gear box and put the control rod on the top of the boom!

That is where it is supposed to be!

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

Really?,What are the obvious signs that I must be missing to tell if a fuse is supposed to be clockwise or anticlockwise?

There are a few other helis made with the tail rotor on the left side that are ACW.

True.
Both of my helis have CW-spinning main rotors (seen from above), so their tail rotors must blow to the RH-side of the helicopter (thrust left). One has the tail rotor on the RH side of the tail boom, the other on the LH side.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
