Hi all,

What do you need to tweek on the Trex700 and Synergy to make them feel real in flight?? I have just come from Realflight 3.5 and I must say I am dissappointed in phoenix so far, the heli's don't feel at all real out of the box. I am running the lastest version of Phoenix (2.5m). The Heli's in realflight felt a lot closer to the real thing.

Are there any tricks to making these heli's fly close to the real ones in the editing page?

It's interesting you say that. Last week I was on a friends RF simulator and said the exact opposite.

Out of the box... add one cup of sugar, two thirds table spoon of salt, mix well, till the desired feeling is achieved....

I think it flys pretty darn close. More important than how it feels is simply to practice you're flying. Say you're practicing a simple backwards flip, you do it over and over. When you do it at the field for the first time your muscle memory will do the trick, no problem. Sure the collective may be a little different, it may be slightly slower or faster, but the basic mechanics will be the same.

Life is tough, it's tougher if you're stupid

There seems to be an acclimation period for me when transitioning between simulators. Although I gave my Phoenix a lot of time and still think it is off. I'll upgrade to 2.5 as soon as I get a chance and try that. Make sure you use it in full screen "game" mode even on a high performance computer.
