I have a 600N with the same symptoms, I have not checked the head speed yet, I am going to try to slow it down a bit and see if it cures it. The only time I see the issue is when I back flip the heli. It will not flutter with aileron rolls or forward flips. Just back flips.. It seems to be worse on a back flip just as you are returning to upright level flight. About the time the blades are in transition from neg to pos pitch. You can see the blades come out of track about an inch when it happens, and it only last maybe 2 seconds. Otherwise tracking is dead on. I have changed every part from the main shaft to the blade grips.
One of my next trials is to change the elevator servo. What the heck I have changed everything else. Possibly weak or a bad pot? It seems fine on the ground while stress testing.
Also I have tried different blade types and the all do it.
Rpm to high is sounding really promising, since I know it is high. I will find a Rpm meter to confirm current speed and then lower it.
What is the most desired safe head speed for mild to aggressive 3d?

Thanks

This morning I turned down the head speed guessing around 200 RPM lower. And the flutter is gone! I still haven't had a chance to check RPM's with a meter yet, but I should be able to this weekend. Thanks for the info, as it never crossed my mind about head speed.

Hi,

I tested it again today with a lower rpm. 100-80-60-80-100.
Its a bit beter now. Its no more flutter in Hover, but after when i do a Flip with the Heli, it still begins to flutter...

Whats a bit strange:
Yesterday the Bladetrack was fine. Today i had it to adjust new although i have nothing changed before. Then in the flight it was ok, skids etc. was not vibrate. Only the Tailfinne vibrated all the time.
And then with the 2. tank the Track was wrong again and i had it to re-adjust...
mainshaft, mainbearings, spindle are all ok but i have a bit play on the head and the bearings in the Maingrips does a bit hack.
I can nothing other find.

nice greetings: Andy

I am running a GV-1 and of course I had it maxed out at 2100 on my 12z. Not sure of the exact rpm since I do not have a tach availiable till this weekend. I will share what I find.

Hi,

I had too much play in the ball-links and changed all to new ones.
i could feel the play on the grips when i moved they with the hand before.
Now i cant feel any play.
Today i was flying and the flutter is gone! I even can run with a high headspeed again without problems.
finally flying now

nice greetings: Andy

I have to say it. Rebuild your head. At least three of your posts said that there was play in the head. Change out balls, ball links, and bad bearings. these can have a dramatic effect on your tracking and blade flutter. If your swashplate has an excessive amount of play in it, at the bearing or balls, change it out also. the 600 swash balls are as bad as the tail control ball. they wear pretty quick. any ball link that has play in it. correct it then fly.

Dont forget to fit the new 1 piece dampers and the plastic sleeve as this will pull the tracking out if there worn
