Cool that sponsors are coming through for you!!

Found out that Jalyn has an important birthday party that she just "has" to attend that weekend (and her sister Amirah was invited too... which is a big deal for her). Since Dee is going to the beach with her girlfriends and I am Mr Mom for that weekend... it looks like now I can't just grab the kids and load them up in the RV and get up there after all

Bummed out... this sounds like a really nice laid back funfly at a beautiful field... I was really hoping to see and fly with you guys!!

Fuel one up and fly it for me
Raja... if you do it... I can be involved for a Really long time

Flying in Maine this weekend
Got my Spectra-g and 1005 with me here in Bath, ME. I went to Topsham field today and put 4 flights on the 1005 until the TX beeped 9v, then I put that on the solar charger and 2 flights on the Spectra before deciding to pack it up and go get some seafood for lunch.

This evening I got one more flight with the 1005 on the way home in the bath iron works parking lot off old route 1 and I got a fellow with his wife who pulled in and watched. Was very impressed with the heli flying as he is learning to fly the full scale Robinson 22 now and said I should go try that. In fact he really wanted to know how I would make out and got my card so he could call me and check up and see how I did with the Robinson. Says it takes about 6 hours to learn to hover for a regular person, wanted to see how long it would take someone like me. I said me too!

Tomorrow I head to Scarborough on the way home as there is a club open house that the SMRCHA guys are going to. Glad it happened while I'm here that's perfect I'll spend the day flying with some new guys on the way home

Looking forward to seeing you guys next weekend!

Yes, lots of local pilots. Seems to be the only event in the PA area. There will be people arriving with motor homes and campers on Friday so they can get an early start on flying on Saturday. You can fly on Fridays as soon as you get there but there will be no food service or events that day. Have fun..One mile of road will take you one mile. One mile of runway will take you anywhere in the world.
