Anyone know anything about this RC paraglider?? My LHS has these electric powered RC parachutes for $130aus that look pretty cool, Im just wondering if anyone has got one and knows if the TX that comes with it is mode 1 or mode 2, I can only fly mode 2 thats rudder and collective on the left stick and cyclic on the right. Here is a link I found of it, theres also a vid of it flying around.http://www.rctoyhouse.com/rc/rc_hel..._sunchaser.htmlIts called a Paracopter. |

Good choice to begin with RC paragliding.I am used to fly a RC paraglider from Opale Paramodels and basically it is advised to setup the remote in mode 1. But, it also depends of the pilot preferences.I personnally think mode 1 is the most adapted for these type of models. |

Nothing like resurrecting a 7 year old thread. We had one of those at our club. It seemed like a great idea for the old guy who couldn't keep up with the speed of a trainer. Unfortunately he was missing a piece of the puzzle as he kept tangling the lines. It was just a ball of twine. |

I am flying in mode 1, since a couple of months now and it seems to be the right mode for me. But I am still struggling with the soaring side. I have difficulties "to read the wind", when I am following a line parallel to a cliff sometimes my wing is going to lose altitude and the cliff is basically the same all the way down. Does any one have any advise on this subject and could help me, anyhow? |
