I could only find spacers for 12mm and 14mm blade roots so i'm assuming that is all that can be used?

Effectively yes, since the limiting factor with using an even thicker blade would be the proper application of the drag inserts.

The grips are 18 mm spacing, so you could conceivably put 18 mm root blades in. For anything less than 18 mm you would need to make your own spacers, but that is easy.

Typically yes Roberto. Use of any blade thicker than a 14mm root will require modification of the drag inserts.

If you use the ssz-V head drag inserts, I think you can use any blade root without mods except adding the spacers applicable for your blade root size.
