OS50, Which valve is which?
I'm trying to tune my heli, but I don't remember of the 3 tuning points, which is idle, which is medium, and which is high speed valve? I know typically you can leave those stock, but a guy at my field messed with them to get them to work better with the muffler I had, and now that I've switched mufflers, I need to adjust them again...

I'm thinking that is only a 2 needle carb. one needle is the main needle located at the fuel inlet and the other is a idol needle or screw. You need to set the high needle on a hard climb out full throttle. then adjust your idol screw to get a good transition on spool up into a hover. Don't worry about the idol screw until you get the high needle set first.Team Quick UK

We need more info to be able to help.

If you are talking about the O.S. 50 Hyper it has one needle and one low speed adjustment in the form of an eccentric screw. The needle is the one with the ratchet. O.S. 50 Hyper manual.

The original O.S. 50 SX-H with a 40E carb. Has the same type of arrangement as the Hyper. O.S. 50 SX-H manual.

If you have more adjustment points maybe your engine has a 60B carburetor? 60B carb. manual.

You can probably see what carb. your engine has on the back of it, the side facing the cylinder.
