Different throw on servos It is definitely not normal, but I keep experiencing different throws on HS645MG throughout throw range. And ATV adjust does not help completely. Deviation not that big, but still. My servos are not from the same batch, so I guess that's why.So the question: digital servos - are they free from this defect? Or it can be the same. In particular I look for Inolab 202MG - same size and parameters as HS65MG, but digital and abouth the same price. Thanks! |

In one case it was extreme and needed 12% on the ATV to get all 3 cyclic servos throwing the same, I pulled this servo and replaced it as I was worried about the high ATV. In another case one MG servo was all one way, so it was too much throw at full positive collective and not enough at full low collective (7%) so my ATV looked like 93%-107% which didn't look good to me. I narrowed it down to batches of Servos. Where I had bought a set of 3 servos these were all about the same and needed only 1-2% ATV within each other, when I purchased a crash replacement, this was the one that was different to the remaining two. I have since fitted the Digital version and these are all the same and I didn't have to use ATV at all, that said, I still purchased them at the same time from what looks like the same batch so may not see an issue until I crash and need a replacement (so that shouldn't be long then ![]() |
