I had a Mercury Milan which comes off the same line as the Ford Fusion for three years. I really liked it a lot. I leased it and ended up turning it in to the dealership about 3 months ago but I wish I would have bought it. Just for reference, I fit 4 50 size machines, one 500, JR Aluminum case, and field box all in the trunk with room to spare. Man they are deep My vote goes to the fusion. It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine! |

I think the HHR and PT Cruiser look a bit different. Enough so that they wont be mistaken.I test drove the HHR this afternoon and really liked it, the space is great and milage is awesome at 30mpg.Still a tough decision.Have Rotors, Will Fly! |

Mike, if it's just a Ford/ Chevy debate for yourself, Ford has a large line of "crossovers"I'm not a big fan of how they look, but the "Taurus X" isn't too bad of a car. Has a butt-load of cargo space in the back, although not as much as the HHR. I had one as a rental I kept for about 2 months.http://www2.showroom.fordvehicles.c...pace=Crossovers ▲ ▲ ▲ |

Nope not a Ford/Chevy issue, just an issue of which will work better. Now that I have driven both it's even harder to figure because they are both drive great. The HHR seems like a logical choice since it has more cargo room.I'm not going to buy a new one so now it comes down to a Fusion with 19,000 miles or an HHR is 70K and both are 2008.Have Rotors, Will Fly! |

HHR is 70K and both are 2008 For me that would be the deal breaker. 70K miles in less than 2 years is excessive. The first thing that comes to mine is AIRPORT RENTAL.
Most people are like me: I beat the #%$@ out of rental cars.I wouldn't by a used car if it had more than an average of 12-15K miles/ year. ▲ ▲ ▲ |

HHR I have an 08HHR sl with the 2.2 in it and very happy with it,great gas mileage, plenty of room, and if look under the rear carpet there's platform you pull and set into the slots you see on the side of the rear side walls so you can modify to hold your helis and still put it back were it was,it hard to choose with all the choices out there.Sergio Amador |

DITTO!! Worst rental car I ever had, and it looks like lame. LOL, second worst rental I've ever had. The worst rental I had was a PT Cruiser. I stopped going to Thrifty's because of the POS Chrysler lineup!Stupidity can be cured. Ignorance is for life! |
