Ford Fusion vs. Chevy HHR Maybe you guys can help me make a decision. I have always had larger trucks and wanted to try one of the 2 vehicles mentioned above.Which do you think is the better car? Any specific experience is greatly appreciated as well.Have Rotors, Will Fly! |

Dude, you're like six and a half feet tall. Maybe you should stick to the large trucks. -Caleb |

The HHR is a total piece of junk from my experience. I had one as a rental and the thing was so poorly made the wheel well popped out and contacted the tire.. and wouldn't go back in. Someone else I knew had one as a rental and it broke down on him too. Also, I hated the interior. Tiny windows, felt like it had tons of blind spots, and all the controls (windows, etc...) were very poorly placed and a pain.two thumbs down on the HHR.Don't know much about the Fusion, but the look pretty good, and Ford cars have gotten a bit better. I love their trucks though! Love my 150!This hobby is like Kryptonite to chicks! |

dont know much about the fusion. the hhr blows majorly. my dad owns one and it is horrible. you feel like you are in a small box when in it. the windows are way to small and you can't see out of it. and it has to be the dumbest looking vehicle made. stick with the trucks i love my f250 diesel. |

I have a fusion and it is OK. I am 6'1" and my head hardly clears the roof. Sync is pretty cool for hands free calls and you can even bluetooth your music from your phone. If your over 6'1" you may want to look for something with a little more head room. |

Man, this is far tougher than I ever thought it would be.For me it really comes down to cargo since helis are a huge part of my daily life. I went looking yesterday at brought one of my 700's with me just to make sure it fit in everything I tested. There is no doubt they fit in the Fusion but it seems that the HHR was almost designed specifically to carry helis.Have Rotors, Will Fly! |

Make sure the air conditioning works well in what you get. It was 100 F yesterday with a heat index of 110, and it's expected to be the same today here in central Florida.I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ? |

I've driven both as rentals and can tell you WITHOUT A DOUBT I'd take the Fusion V-6. That was a fun car to drive. The HHR was a really BORING driving experience with a 4 cylinder. The HHR would have the Fusion beat hands down in terms of storage and hauling capacity though!Stupidity can be cured. Ignorance is for life! |

HHR its the best I have one and have well over 50,000 miles on it great little car. Lay the back seats down and I can hall all my planks and Helicopters out to the field. If I keep the AC off and keep the speed under 65 I can get the mileage up to 43 MPG.I love it!Don't blame me I did not vote for him! |
