Short Push rod?
Putting together the pushrod from the rudder servo, I found the pushrod to the rear control lever has only one end threaded and about 1 /12 inches too short. Like it was cut too short and never threaded. ANyone else have this issue.

Also, why do you think JS put a complicated rudder control pushrod system? Seems cheaper and easier to use a tail mount servo. I may conver mine.

It's just a different way to do it. I think shorter rod would be less likely to have any bend to it. Long rods could bend and could develop slop in added ball joints, levers and guides. Also it would be cheaper to manufacture. Is there any advantage to this lever system? Here I come to save the day !!!

i started flying raptors. i always used the front mounted tail servo, and i always thought it was waaaay too much rod between servo and tail and would cause flex. this made me envy guys who had trex's or other makes with a lever in between. it's more parts but seemed to me mechanically more efficient. 2 short rods as opposed to one really long one. the main benefit to having the servo off of the tail and up front is that it's less likely to be damaged in a crash in my experience. i've had terrible luck with tail mounted servos and upper rear mounted gyros when i crash. that's just my experience.fly it like you stole it
