Battery:? Zippy 40c 6s 5000 mAh
Pinion:?
Head Speed:? 2150
and anything else you want to put in like what gyro and head servo's8717's on cyclic would rock. I have the above mentioned setup minus the 8717 and you can't get the motor to bog down!! REALLY fast and agressive!! |

you will have to 30c on the battery at 6s or it will puff them fast
I tried several motors and could only get 2200 with a throttle curve but not in gov mode. I finally went too 8s and a mega motor and it holds 2200 for 5 minCRASH! GLUE! REPEAT! Spectra-G, Ion X-2 |

Just to keep in mind that 2200 HS is very much on the high end of 50 sized heli. Typical 50 sized nitro bird only run at 2000 HS.Regardless, I don't think you are going to be able to get 2200RPM with only 6s. This is becuase my old 6s setup running 2000RPM already peak at 100A. I can only guess 2200 may peak at 130A+. Your new 40C pack may work, but it would mean short flight and short battery life.If 2200 is what you are after, get your self a 8s.B |

hey some of the logo 600 owners are cranking upto 2500RPM and its 50 size.I think these days 2200RPM on 50 size is pretty normal for stunt mode. |

hey some of the logo 600 owners are cranking upto 2500RPM and its 50 size. Yeah, but logo 600's don't run on 6s. They typically run on 10s. They're more heavy than the Trex-600E though |

I have run 2200 headspeed on my ys50 for about 75 flights, easy. A good buddy of mine has a 600e and on 8s it's pretty much all I could ask for in an e50!I'll see if he can post his setup, up in here. I know its a scorpion motor, kontronik esc, 2300 rpm, 2 different battery makers.Lots and lots of grunt, I think its about 4-4.5 mins a pull when you are hittin it hard.Lots of fun, gave him my V's to use and its off the hook. |

As Carey's "good buddy", I run the following:Scorpion 4025 - 890kv (16 tooth pinion yields 2,300 hs)
Kontronik Jazz 55I use an 8 cell set-up and vary between:
8 cell Flight Power evo Lite 4270 Mah
8 cell True RC 5000 MaH (seem to have a bit more power then the fp's)
serial linked 6 cells to 2 cells (my original set-up was on 6 cell, didn't want to waste the packs).I've been really pleased with this set-up. Definately better performance then the neu 1515 (6 cell setup) that I replaced. After the neu motor blew, I attempted to fly with the stock align, and hated the way the heli performed. |

I think instead of getting a Trex 500esp I'm just going to upgrade my 600e. Go to 8s and get 2200-2300hs and nice flight time. I've already got a Kasama Tail and TT on it and metal Head so all thats left is the power system. I have to buy new packs anyways so going 8s wont be trouble. Now could you guys reccomend a good 8s for the Head speed i would like. I'd like to go with a Scorpion or Neu Motor and a Nice ESC.
Also a bec and new reciver pack. Cuz the reciver pack I've got now is only a 1100mAh and its weak.Rob McQuillen

I have just sent an email to TrueRC at http://home.comcast.net/~truercHis packs seem very reasonable. He does custom battery packs as well, so my request to him is to make some 8s 4200mAh. If he can make that with the similar prices to the 8s 5000mAh he has on the website, I think we're good.Still waiting for his responding emails though. You may want to drop him an email too. If there's enough demand, he can make it in large quantity for less cost. |

with my set-up, the 5000 mah fly fine, weight wise, and I like having the higher capacity. Don't think the weight savings are enough to worry about. |
