Gyros- Is the 520 as good as the 611? If you guys have both I would not mind a brief comparison. What servos are you using? It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right. |

I was wondering the exact same thing I was thinking about putting it on a 90 size electric. |

The 520 is better than the 611(I have many years experience with 611 and 601's since it came out), especially in the piro department, it is very consistent. The 611 is no slouch but is yesteryears super gyro. If you are in the market for a new gyro and want a Futaba, the 520 is the one to get. It works great with any servo on the market and is currently working awesome with my 8900G, but from Futaba will work even better with a BLS251, the gyro is optimized for 760 pulse servos.Still buyin' and flyin' then crashing and cryin' |

Both my GY520s work very, very well. ONe is setup with the BLS251 and the other with a S9256 and I think these combos work with my style of flying. The size is just another plus for me in that I do not have to worry abour where I am to mount the system.Ray Fernandez - GUAM |

I have both the 611 and the 520 and I would say my vote goes to the 520. It is rock sold and consistant not to mention its so much smaller, lighter, and you don't need an extra screen. It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine! |

I needed the usb dongle to eliminate a bounce back and I also adjusted the tail stops so they arent fierce enough to break a crown gear...Herman |

no, I never messed with programming it on a computer. I mounted it straight to the bird and followed the instructions and it works flawlessly. It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine! |

I replaced two GY611's with GY520's, The 520 is better in every aspect.I didn't need the USB adapter for the PC, the standard LED setup worked and flies perfect. |
