Align 2-1 and 9252 servos?
Is anyone running the Align 2-1 and the Futaba 9252 servos? If so do you run a step down other than on the tail servo? Like between the 2 -1 and the receiver.

Thanks

I am running 9252 and 2 in 1. They work just fine. Remember these servos are rated for 4.8 volt using a Nimh which will have a voltage after full charge just below 6v. They say don't use 6 volts because a 6 volt pack will have a voltage closer to 8 volts when fully charged.FAA Mission statement. We're not happy until your not happy

WONDERING SAME THING WITH DIFFERENT SERVOS
What about the JR8700 servo I have one on the tail of my 600 and one as throttle and three JR 8311 on cyclic

I am also using an Align 2n1 do I need a step down?

Thanks Gary

hm_oliver ,
That is right But with the 2n1 the lipo is a 7.4v and threw that I'm getting 5.34 - 5.37 volts all the time!! Now I just sent my cyclic servos off to Futaba service center to see if there is a problem with one or all of them. I think when they come back I'm going to run my step down from the 2n1 to the Rx for all the servos just to make sure. Servos are way to much $$$ to play around with the volts to them. I should here from them this week.

Thnaks

hi
Been using 9252's without step down and 2 in 1 align regulators since they came out...

One servo set has over 300 flights with this setup and is going strong.

I have heard that the output voltage on the 2 in 1 is below 6 volt but never tested it. I will test one tomorrow. At 5.3ish you should not be damaging a servo.
