MK FLYIN 2009 sat 11th and 12th July 2009 (((UK)))
MK HELI CLUB would like to invite everyone to our flyin

Following on from last years successful fly-in MK Heli Club is pleased to announce that this years fly in will take place
on Sat 11th and Sun 12th of July 2009.

Food and drinks will be available throughout both days and the BBQ is cracking good food.

fish and chip supper can be purchased in advance for those staying late Saturday evening.

Overnight camping on Friday and Saturday night will be available with room for both tents and caravans.(BUT please note we have no water on site)

Tx control opens at 9am both days with flying starting at 9.30am till late, with Night flying on Saturday evening only.

There will be a auto comp running through out the weekend run by Mark Chaplin with a prize for the winner.

After last years successful intro to 450 pylon racing and was won by Ian contessor both days, we will do again both days and there are some great prizes for the winners.
If none of you saw this last year your in for a treat, all levels can compete as long as you have a 450 dont matter what spec bring it along for some great fun and crowed pleasing.

Last but not least there will be a Raffle on Sunday and we will have some great prizes and is always a great hit.

Tents and caravan pitch prices £5.00 for the weekend

Saturday night fish and chip supper will be around £5.00 per head, price still to be confirmed on the day.

Friday night camping has been added again this year to help those traveling long distance so please get in quick.

The local village is less than 5 minuets away to get a meal or drinks.

This is one of the best flyins to put in ur diary for 2009, you will get to hang out chat and get some great info from some of the top piolts in the country.
So bring the family everyone is invited.

can you fly turbines ?

are there any requirements for flying etc B test, BMFA insurance minimum etc,

matt you should know proof of insurance/ bmfa is a minimum at any fly-in
and last year b cert not needed
and i'll think they would like to see your turbine

and Matt the answer to your question no i can't fly turbines as i haven't got one

thats all right Payne you can have a go on mine...

The reason for the insurance was someone is over from the states and asked me, hence the reason for posting it!

Yes i am intending on coming and will stay for the BBQ depending on weather..

i would ask the club and the bmfa if the ama insurance is ok

e-willy has gone, so it will be predator wren and the zealous..

you must have a go on the zealous it is so nice to fly.... as is the predator but it is more nippy

is it your club field ?

Yes tubins are cool to have at the club.
Last year had my mate Ian (coolice) bring hes predator wren and i got to have a little fly till the gearbox seal leaked oil into the engine lol.

No A or B needed to fly just a MUST is you have full BMFA insurance and you bring your card

Im not sure on the AMA insurance but if you would like il contact my chairman to confirm????

Hi NIghstalker,

I forgot Ian flew his predator wren there, i know Ian from my F3C comp days, so it will be nice to see him as he is now a married man LOL, see if the thumb prints on the forehead have started..

Look forward to it, lets hope it is a nice warm July..
