FAST FOOD! Whats your favorite fast food joint and why?
Favorite menu item?We've got McD's, Burger King, Taco Bell, Taco Johns, KFC, Arby's, Culver's, Hardees (Carls Jr), Chinese buffet, many more. What do you eat when you have so many choices and so many things sound so good?I often find myself driving down the strip, passing ALL the fast food restaurants two or more times undecided, until I'm out of gas, and thats where I end up at the gas station and just settle for 2/$1 hotdogs and a cappucino. ▲ ▲ |

Whats your favorite fast food joint Why? Favorite menu item? I end up at the gas station and just settle for 2/$1 hotdogs and a cappucino.  That's nasty, man. They're usually worse than McD's.McD's coffee ain't too bad in a pinch...  I can't believe McDonald's is still in business. Worst fast food burgers ever. |

So would you rather have 12 McNuggets for $3 or 10 McNuggets for $3.49? Thats 25 cents a nugget or 35 cents a nugget. Which would you rather pay?Another one:Big Mac (sandwich only) for $2.99, or a "Poor Man's Big Mac" for $1? The Poor Man's Big Mac is a Double Cheeseburger from the dollar menu, hold the ketchup & mustard, add Mac Sauce and shredded lettuce. They can keep their sesame seeds and middle bun, I'll save a $1.99 ▲ ▲ |

2/$1 apple pies: Delicious Sausage Egg & Cheese biscuit: Delicious. Breakfast hashbrowns: DeliciousNeed I say more?I'll admit, if you wanna REALLY good burger, I'll have to have a Whopper. They just taste too good to pass up. Next time you go to BK, order your burger FOTG (fresh off the grill) They'll do it for you, all you gotta do is ask.Wendy's is good. I like their dollar menu. The Jr. Bacon cheeseburgers are the best value (2nd best, really, behind the Whopper Jr for 99 cents) in Fast Food. Wendy's would score higher on my list, but the whole square burger on a round bun just aint right, and Frosties are impossible to drink with a straw unless you wait at least an hour. ▲ ▲ |

Need I say more?  the whole square burger on a round bun just aint right  I can do BK Whoppers from time to time, but the dollar-menu burgers and chicken at just about ANY FF joint are real gut-bombs -- nowhere near the same quality meat & buns as the regular stuff, which are already marginal.Carl's Jr's Guacamole Bacon Six Dollar DOUBLE Burgers are okay too.  |

Fast Food YUK............ The only thing fast about fast food is how long it takes to exit my bowels... My family runs an Italian rest. in NJ My mom, brother, and brother inlaw do all the cooking, I work the front of the store and most meals take less then 15 minutes to cook form scratch.I know I'm spoiled we have been in business for almost 50 years.When I'm in the mood for something different I will drive around and look for the small mom and pop type places versus going to a fast food joint, with one exception.Once every 2 years I have to have White Castle murder burgers. I love those things even though they hate me, they go thru me faster than a laser beam,but boy are they tasty.
BTW Hot Dogs from a gas station???? I would buy them and then throw right in the toilet bowl and cut out the middle man...LOLRegards Eric G |

 Vending cart hotdogs are commonly known to the NYC locals as "dirty water dogs", or simply, "Dirty Waters"But I like them Greek cart vendors, too. Some of the best Gyros are made on a city street by a guy who isn't even Greek at all!And not just Gyros, FALAFEL!! Dood loves me some Falafel. Best place to get it is a joint on St Marks. If you're on St Marks, it's pretty hard to miss if you're looking for it, but easy to walk right on past if you're not.▲ ▲ |

In the UK there was once a piece in the Daily mail newspaper on Mcdonalds on how they water down there Coke syrup or their milkshakes were waterd down, they even had a phone in Radio 2 after Bill CLinton had his heart surgery, yet despite it being said it was down to his love of fast food and poor diet over 90% who phoned in still said they would go to McDonalds...Even the Salads as they come with that dressing are fattening,i like the caption on KFC " YOU CALL IT CHICKEN, WE CALL IT CHICKEN, LETS CALL IT CHICKEN" it was anti KFC poster that was being put up around London north circular road sometime ago.. made me smile...Matt |
