I just got a Rave and have got 4s batteries for it and 350mm blades. Currently using a Neu 1107/2y but want to replace it.
I was thinking about the Scorpion -8 on either 11 or 12 tooth pinion as this sounds like a great combo.
What paddles do you guys use to get the cyclic responsive, as at the moment my Rave feels sedate on flip rate?

Thanks

I don't think the 11T will do the trick. The 13t on the Scorp -8 is the hot setup. You might get both the 12 and 13t pinions and find what you like for your style of flying!

I like the 71mm paddles. They provide a stable but reasonably quick cyclic.

You could run the Stubz but you might want to run the weights! It's pretty mad fast!

Ok. It was just that all the people who previously posted were saying 12t was the mad set up. With that motor and 350mm blades?

^^^I believe Nick Maxwell runs the -6 with 350's. 12 or 13T pinion im guessing.

60% of the time, it works every time!

Thanks for the response, I ended up selling it and got a -8 as I knew that would work well. Cheers

i run the -6 on 3s, i'd have to check my pinion but it think it's 13t. I got the idea from nick and love it. It flys so much better than 4s, not quite as much power but just more fun and lighter especially fbl.

Is that the -6 with 350's or 325's?

350s of course, I don't fly 325s on either rave anymore. it just flys so much better with 350s, it flys like a 500 or 50 size.
