So, I removed the ferrite rings on both my ESC and UBEC...
Don't ask me why...OK, I needed additional wire length . So, is this really going to be a big deal on my Mini Titan? I understand the reason for ferrite rings; however, can I really expect electricl noise to interfere with my AR6100 Rx without the rings? Thanks.

A while back, I did a lot of research on this and read a large number of threads. The concensis is that its very important for 72hz, but less important for 2.4. If you can run them, do. If you can't or choose not to, (and run 2.4) then you will probably be fine. Be sure to keep the BEC and ESC as far away from the Rx.

I decided to leave mine on since I didn't need the extra length. Every little bit helps. Not that I say the rings had anything to do with it, but I have 104 hours and 51 minutes total flight time logged with my 2.4 setup and no glitches, brownouts, lockouts or odd behavior.
