What is better for more head speed on my trex 450? i have the 12t in there now but i also have a 13t pinion? which would be better to fly with when doing more aggressive flying?

Yeah I've been running the 13t at 3000rpm on my L motor (same as the X as I understand it) for a year. Everything keeps pretty cool, so you should be good too.

Ok....I'll be objective here. I have run a 430L (similar to an X)on 11, 12 and 13t pinions. I have found although a 13 gives you a higher HS, the motor may bog under hard collective (that motor is kinda $hitty IMO.) I like the 12T or even an 11. I prefer torque over HS. Smaller pinion will = less bogging (with lower HS.)

Thats just my opinion.....The real answer is to experiment yourself. Try the 11, 12 and 13t pinions and see what you like.
T-Rex 450 SE V2 , T-Rex 600 NSP, Stryker F27 C....Yea, it's a plank.
