CC Phoenix 45 ESC - BEC Voltage?
I have looked every where on the CC website and in my ESC documentation, but can not find what the output BEC voltage is. Is it 6V or 5V? I will be using 3S 2200 Ma Lipos.

In all the documentation I have read, it says something about, output voltage being appropriate for your receiver and servos, but that answer is to broad. I really need to know if I should use a stepdown voltage device for my Futaba 9257 tail servo.

hook it up and test it with a volt meter. its been my experiance that the older CC (non HV) are good to 6 cell lipo but the bec must be disabled for over 3 cell and they usually run 4.8-5v on the bec. some of the newer CC bec can be set internaly with the castle link.CRASH! GLUE! REPEAT!

TaleGunner, thanks for the reply. I checked the voltage and it is 5V. For my Blade 400, I do not think it is worth changing it to 6V and using a stepdown for the tail servo, so I will leave everything at 5V.
