Flybarless ---for beginner?
Aside from cost or setup, will a flybarless heli be more stable than its flybared counterpart especially for a beginner? I'm thinking of getting a flybarless Rave for my brother.

I personally think it's better. Other than setup, I feel they are more stable feeling, handle wind better and overall feel much closer to the simulator than one with a flybar. However the Rave is a very stable heli already.....just my experience....

I second jake in the stability of the Rave (not talking about flybarless). I fly my rave with a 2400 HS (around there) and it would make a killer trainer if that is what you are trying to accomplish. I am working on my skills and don't have the need now to have the balistic Rave setup. I would imagine even more stable with flybarless as described.~oo~ Stop fogging up my glasses

I'm running 3s with 350s and it is pretty, mellow. I would say it is a great trainer. I find it easier to fly that my Trex 450 SE V2. Flybarless I'm assuming would be even more stable. be even more stable. I think I remember hearing on an ATTF podcast beginners might be better off learning with out the flybarless systems. I guess get to know how the flys?
