401 red light keeps flashing

I'm trying to program a DX6I to a 401 on a t500 but only get a flashings red on the gyro. What am I doing wrong with this DX6I ? I can set up a DX7 to a 401 , Mini g and a Spartan with no problems but this DX6I has me going in circles. Help!

Back when I had my Dx6i I recall having to have the gain greater 54% or so for it to go into HH. What is your gain set at?Procrastinators of the world unite ... tomorrow.

401 red light keeps flashing

Sonic my gain setting with gyro s/w on 0 has been 54 to 90 with 401 flashing every time. Sub trim 0 .

Assuming all sub-trim and trim are all zero. You can try the following,

- power up the gyro
- toggle bewteen HH and rate more quickly three times.

This will allow 401 to "re-learn" center stick.

I used to have the sam problem with my blade 400 and the DX6i using the GY401. Like the other guys said, make sure the gyro rate is above 50, esp in the mode you use when you turn the heli on (usually norm). I would double check where you have your gyro gain assigned. If if on your flight mode or flap/gyro. The problem usually happens when they bind together, so when in doubt, rebind the Rx with the rate above 50. On a side note, the light will also blink if one of the leads to the motor is removed when you turn the heli on.╘ₒ₲ₒ 6°° ƺƉ ṾЪ∂®

Hi guys thanks for all the fast replys . Re checked everything then as suggested rebine RX and gyro is working fine. One 500 ready for Maiden this weekend .
