SPEKTRUM 2.4Ghz AND Wireless ATV System 2.4Ghz - WILL I HAVE ISSUES ?????

hey ATV gurus , im new to ATV and i have purchaced the product below with a patch antena

it says not recomended use with a 2.4 ghz radio , mine is a spekturm DSM 2.4 (dx6i - DX7 Etc) is ANYONE using 2.4ghz cameras with spektrum radios ? and if so , any problems ?

Why don't you believe the "it says not recomended use with a 2.4 ghz radio"? Please do a search and you will find on probably every single forum clear-cut advice that trying to run a 2.4Ghz downlink while trying to control the aircraft with a 2.4Ghz transmitter is likely to end in tears.

Do you really want to risk your equipment based on some dude who reckons he is the only one who didn't have any problems? (not that I believe anyone in here has ever said this)Tony Stott

the reason i asked is that POSSIBLY spektrum may not have problems , but other brands of 2.4 radio might , like i sed , im just asking the question , no harm in asking right? so by the looks of it im going to have to cancel my order and get a refund , and ATV is not looking like its for me

Despite the hype from the different manufacturers, all the 2.4Ghz radios will be likely to clash with any 2.4Ghz downlink.

1.2 or 900 will not clash, although I don't know about the legalities of using those bands in Oz.Tony Stott

I hope you can use 900 mhz. It works great for me with my 2.4 Heli radio. I initially used 2.4 with my 72 mhz radios worked great. Got a 2.4 and tried on the ground. Reduced range of my heli to 300 feet !!!!! DON'TShould've bought a sim. Got a bucket of used blades!

To answer like your header:
YES, YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES!!!!!

Just don't try it. Use 900 mhz or 1.3ghz instead.
Cannot get any simpler than that.

Don't use 1.2 Ghz either.
1.2 Ghz (and maybe 1.3 Ghz) transmitters bleed out resonance in the 2.4 Ghz band, which will also reduce your radio range.
Especially those cheap ones.
