YS SR Swallowed a Wrist Pin Keeper Anyone ever had a wrist pin snap ring break and get swallowed by the piston? Happened to me tonight. 2nd time this has happened to me in 10 years of flying helis. Engine has about 20 some gallons through it, was running excellent, then it lost all power. Was able to get the heli on the ground luckly.I wonder if I should send it to YS? I need a head, piston, ring, sleeve, wrist pin keepers, head gasket. Probably $200 in parts ![]() ![]() |
