e sky 4 in 1 on a HBFP

Will a bad DD tail motor burn out a 4 in 1? I have the main motor fused with a 7.5 amp fuse and the tail motor fused with a 5 amp fuse. I smoked a new 4 in 1 the other day. I have another one on order. I changed out the old motor and installed a new one. What am I missing or are some of the 4 in 1s weak? I don't want to smoke another one.

Thanks for any advice. I'm new to this Hobby!

heh, next step is to go separates. First you can start with brushed separate, all you need is 2 brushed speed controllers, a cheap gyro and cheap RX. Then you get a small Brushless motor and ESC.

Only time I have an 4in1 burn out is when the motor burn out.ಠ_ಠ HBK2 built with inexpensive parts! ٩๏̯͡๏)۶ Gaui425

How much are you going to end up spending?

I used to own a HBFP (see video below) in which I ran the stock 4-in-1, Slo-Max 300 main motor, GWS CN12-RXC tail motor with the 4530 prop and powered by a 2S 800mAh lipo.

I flew that heli 126 flights and never had a problem. I also never installed the fuses, as well. IMO, the fuse mod is WAY overhyped and is pretty much about nothing.

What lipo are you using....2S or 3S? Also, what tail motor are you using and what prop?

By the way, it's hard to believe that it's been almost 2 years since the above video. Time sure flies when you are having fun

4 in 1

I am using the GWS ELECTRICAL DIRECT POWER SYSTEM with EP3020 PROP.
Is there any way to test the tail motor to confirm it's bad? It works fine when I plug it into the main motor plug in on the 4 in 1. The battery's are the 2 cell 7.4 lipos

Just installed new 4 in 1. every thing seems to be working fine. Just need to fine tune the 4 in 1.
