Tracking problems
I've been flying my Mini for over a year now and have stuffed it a few times, but this last time after the rebuild the tracking is way out and there no getting it back.Simple rebuild main shaft feather shaft and flybar all are new and stright,I'm running trueblood green damperners and trueblood 325's blades.I have all linkages even and a level swash all the way up and down,I've been over this thing for ever and still it sounds like a lawn mower in the air and almost inch and a half out in tracking. What could do this

Norsman,

I am not familiar with the MT but I have chased a tracking issue for weeks that turned out to be a bent screw holding on the mixing levers.

I also had a loose AND bent screw once that made tracking absolutely impossible.

Just some brain fodder for you. check all screws even if it means removing them to check.

Forgot to ask,

Does the tracking get better after you adjust and then go back out or can you not adjust it at all i.e. red blade high - adjust link 1 turn then blue blade is same amount high?

No thats whats freaking me out is you can take 3 or 4 or 5 full turns in or out and it does not change.Thats what I dont understand I've been flying for a while now and never seen any thing like this.I could just get another head but this stuff bothers me as to what can cause it......

Good deal. I think from my experience crashes with carbon blades (yes I run my blades too tight)cause an invisible blowout turning the dampeners too mush. So for me if my carbons once set the first time ever loose tracking I just throw away the dampeners and replace them first thing. thats about the easiest cheapest fix to try before adjusting something that was working fine.

Like hydraulic lifters on your harley just gap them once and go.
