SDX as primary 50 size machine Please post a thread here if you think you have replaced your primary 50 size heli with SDX and specify what your previous machine you switch from.My previous primary heli is Evo50 SWM.. no way it is comparable with SDX as my flagship 50 size heli. |

I am currently flying the SDX which replaced my old Sceadu that I had not flown in a while since I have a turbulence. However, now I like the SDX so much I hardly fly the Turbulence. All in all the SDX is a great inexpensive machine. |

I can’t say I have a “primary” machine. I really love flying the Turbulence simply because of the Hirobo quality and the rotor head. Through no fault of its own, it takes more fuel to keep in the air. It was not until the SDX came when I really started cranking out flights. I can do the same maneuvers with the SDX because I virtually has the same ahead as the D3. I am not burning as much fuel and not I can practice more for less. SO yes, right now the SDX is what you can find me flying the most. Don’t get me wrong, the D3 still makes it to the field every time I fly MRC Host |

If I plant my Voyager 50 IMZ beyond reasonable repair I will be getting the SDX.All fliers need a machine like the SDX anyway, it will make you fly better because you're not £$%$ scared of crashing it, hence you're more adventurous and eager to push a bit further..... And fuel economy on a 50 that much better than a 90.What I want to ask is: will Hirobo do a 30 sized SDX? Or at that power level it's not worth in since it won't have much pop regardless of head design? |

SDX all the way. I have air frame built for the vibe 50, trex 600, raptor 50, Knight 3d, Audacy Model Pantera but after I flown my SDX those fleets have to go. I almost want to the get blink blink SDX for displays in my shop too.topspindok |

Any converter here from T600N or Vibe50 to SDX? Yup! I think I will put them both up for sale along with a Raptor SE/Titan combo and 600E. Maybe I'll keep one as a backup 50. I have a 700N and a Srimok is on the way. I don't need/want so many 50's. |

the 700 flys very well
its just the poor quality of the machining/fit of the parts/and the parts themselves thats the problem
the kit and spares may cost less than the other makes but you get what you pay for
my 700 had issues and problems from the day i started to build it to the day i sold it
you will also find that the 700 requires a lot of constant maintenance to keep it in the air
my 7 to 8 year old hirobos and thunder tigers havn't needed the amount of repairs in their life span that the 700 needed in 7 monthsif you crash every week have a 700 the spares cost is less
if you hardly ever crash buy a quality brand |

What I want to ask is: will Hirobo do a 30 sized SDX? They don't have to. You can use the engine mount, flywheel and 9T pinion from the Evo 30 to convert an SDX to a 30-size. These parts are the same as the Sceadu. Then just pop in an OS37 (or similar) and some 550-570mm main blades.Leif |

as i converted my sceadu from a 30 to a 50 i wouldn't bother trying to make the sdx a 30
the sceadu fly's so much better as a 50 so i guess the sdx will be the same |

Convert it to a 50 is the right choice because it will flies like the 30, 50, 90 by simply dial the head on the SDX. You will love it. |

My new SDX replaced my old Sceadu Evo op as my primary 50 size machine.Well, to be honest, it became my favorite Sunday flyer. I do bring my E3 or my EX2 with the SDX, but I like to fly the SDX more since it's more economical to fly than the 90s (think fuel and crash )SDX FBL | Eagle3 SWM | Trex 600EFL Pro |
