It could very well install in the servo, but then the specs (speed and torque) will change. Kind of like putting S9650 gears in a S9257 servo. They will work, but the S9257 will be a lot slower (albeit more torque). Are you trying to do it to one of the three cyclic servos, or all three to make them faster? |

It wasn't so much for speed but rather to get rid of the slop that has developed in the gears. It seems that S9351 replacement gears are harder to come by in the UK. |

9351's with slop? Odd. I have 6 of them operating in helis now. They have been beat on pretty hard and been in several crashes and none of them have slop yet. This is after 100 or so flights each.I am curious as to what you have done to the servos to get this slop because I suspect ANY metal geared servo you buy will do the same thing under the conditions in which you are operating. My s9351´s have also developed little bit of slop, but they are quite old. First i used them in a big gasser, then in a knight 50 and now they are on my Aeolus 50 3d |

9351's with slop? Odd. I have 6 of them operating in... I don't think there is anything odd about a metal geared servo developing a bit of slop after substantial use. In fact that is the exact reason they use nylon gears in most decent rudder servos, as it reduces the rate of wear. These are great servos etc etc the gears are just worn out.Saint728I was hoping to avoid importing them to the UK... |

the 9351 have a tiny bit amount of slop at center but not during travel. Are you sure that the slopped appeared after use and is not that normal slop at center?Tony -------------------- "Perfection and patience usually walk side by side..." |

It is mainly around the center, maybe it's been there for a while? I just noticed it and though that can't be good. I've had the servos for several years and they've been in a couple of models. As it turns out I flew with them all weekend and they seem good enough, so I might hold out for a while longer before replacing them. |

I think that slop was always there. They are car servos and full metal geared... slop around center is expected. I think the BLS451 don't have that slop but I will check with my friends heli.Tony -------------------- "Perfection and patience usually walk side by side..." |
