Cant take the back cover off of my 91ST Let me ask before I break the back plate, I loosen all 4 screws and deteched the check valve pipe from the back, what else do I need to do? It just wouldnt come off. |

Heat wrench? I've had a number of sticking back plates on other engines as well. Found that warming the engine case uniformly with my heat gun helps open up the tolerances a bit and makes things come apart with less force. Especially if its been together a long while. |
