Let me ask before I break the back plate, I loosen all 4 screws and deteched the check valve pipe from the back, what else do I need to do? It just wouldnt come off.

It can be a pain to take off.

I ended up putting the back cover part in a vise and then I twisted it off (Making sure I did not scratch the metal).

This might break the gasket though, so be careful.

Use a #11 Exacto blade and split/separate the back plate off the gasket. Do it slowly and with only a little pressure and you may be able to save the gasket. It's better to get a replacement gasket if you damage the one you have. Please stand by for faster service!

Heat wrench?
I've had a number of sticking back plates on other engines as well. Found that warming the engine case uniformly with my heat gun helps open up the tolerances a bit and makes things come apart with less force. Especially if its been together a long while.
The only people who truly know where the edge lies, are those who have gone over.

All you need to do is loosen the 4 screws and pop it with a screwdriver handle then take the screws out and remove the cover. Works every time...Team Quick UK

i have to say that id try the heat method too as it works every time for me. A normal heat gun is usually more than enough. If it doesnt move and its meant too... use WD 40. If it moves and its not meant too...use duct tape!
