Just purchased vibe 903d - Things to know? Hey everyone,Could not resist the temptation of purchasing this heli at such a great deal from Heliproz, and made the move on buying it. Would someone provide me with what to watch out for, and advice during the build process. Also, I heard something about flipping the blade grips...not sure what that's about. Any help would be greatly appreciatedBest,

First off congrats you will love it. I recommend the grip flip you will notice the difference in the quickness of it and pop.The build itself is pretty straight forward. heres a link to my build http://runryder.com/t508654p1/ also at the end of my post theres a link to the grip flip info but here it is again http://runryder.com/t407132p1/?high...be+90+grip+flipI personally recommend the KSJ flybar cage I just didnt trust the stock setup. Also if you are running stubz or super stubz run a shorter flybar. Otherwise you will have the problem in forward flight of it ballooning (rising and falling). Also get a set of the MA hard 3d dampeners. If you are interested in a full back up head with KSJ flybar cage, stock fb and a shorter 520mm fb, set of MA dampeners installed and a spare set, and a set of super stubz I am selling mine. It has about 2-3 gallons flight time I just converted mine over to flybarless so no longer need it. |

Thanks for your email Why dont you recommend the stock flybar cage? Have people had problems with it, or do I have to change it due to me flipping the blade gripsThanks again!

neither to my knowledge. Its not really a flybar cage its just an L shape arm that mounts directly on the flybar. I didnt like it, its just seemed really flimsy and wanted strong and stout to prevent any possible problems. |

You can buy the JR flybar but they are much more expensive. Supposedly the sweet spot is 500mm-520mm. I was really happy with the 4mm x 520 raptor SE hardened FB. |

Just make sure you follow the updated procedure when installing the tail gear housing. You can find this info at horizonhobby.com. |
