What ESC will fit inside the frame of Trex 450 PRO???
What ESC's will fit inside the frames of the Trex 450 PRO? The frames are much more narrow than my V2, so I don't think there is any way to cram my 60A Scorpion ESC in there. I've seen a guy who added washers to either side of his 450 PRO to make the frame wider, but I don't want to do that. Have you found any high capacity ESC which fit inside the frames nicely?Avant RC

I'm not sure which ESC's will fit inside the frame but I'm not sure why you would. The esc will get better cooling if it's on the outside frames and will run much better.

Agreed. Makes sense to have it somewhere it can cool off better. but IMO it is disapointing to see a nice heli with all those wires and electronics sticking out everywhere.

I think most ESC for a heli theat size will fit fine. Maybe not if you decide to put a lot of power in it.

The designed it for the ESC to sit under the front battery ramp note the cutout for the battery lead molded into the front round over.

The stock fits nicely as does a CC 35

No issues with heat running mine there and it does clean up the wires substantially.

I read on HF that the CC 45A will just barely fit in the front. My Scorpion ESCs will definitely not fit.Avant RC
