Question on selling to new members ?
I am wondering on your alls thoughts about selling to a new member with no feedback and no posts and is from over seas. Is there anyway that I can be scamed as a seller even if payment was threw paypal. Is thier any extra steps to protecting myself and protecting my paypal account from getting any fraugilant transactions or is it all good as long as the money shows in my paypal account.

You cannot insure something going overseas. IF you buy insurace though the USPS that only covers the item while it is in the states, once it leaves it is no longer insured. So the buyer could potentially claim you never shipped it and you would be screwed. Have many of us shipped porduct overseas, yup. But I won't ship anything I can't afford to take a loss on. For me, basically anything over 50 bucks I don't ship out of the country.

Sorry.Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

Be cautious as you can get stung even from PayPal. I have had good luck with paypal but did have someone from Mexico pay through paypal with a fraudulent credit card. I shipped as soon as funds were available but later there was a chargeback from the Credit card co and because it was out of the US I was out the funds.CRASH! GLUE! REPEAT!

Yes and use a PROPER Courier who insures and tracks right to the destination....the USPS is useless even though they are cheap.

This is so true!....

I don't criticize a new RR member, what I do criticize is a out of the country buyer.

The only countries that paypal will secure is, USA, Canada, Great Britain...Thats it, unless you were a big Power Seller on FleaBay. Even then there is a level of risks.

Paypal charge backs are on a rampage these days.
