600mm woodies for practising tic-toc

After receiving a few pms about what I need the 600mm woodies for in the wanted section, I finally decide to give up using the woodies. I have been using woodies for learning flips, rolls, loops and inverted hovering since last summer with no issues, and so I think learning tic-toc should also be ok.

Yet, I have been advised by some members that the woodies might flex too much causing them to snap in mid-air due to the high demand in collective management for this 3d maneuver (Note: I did glue the roots). I do not want to take this risk, and I am going to switch to carbon blades.

stay away form woodies for 3d, why risk your heli for a few less dollars. Align is coming out with wood core carbon blades, dont know the price yet.

No gluing, no balancing, no limited headspeeds, no fuss. Woodies are dead as a Dodo as far as I'm concerned. Even for n00bs, good FG blades are cheap enough nowadays.

Its really hard to beat Radix cosmetic flawed blades. For the price and the performance, they are the best option IMO. I have tried many blades and I always come back to Radix for how they feel in the air... and that price break really helps with crash costs!!

You still have to balance CF blades I bought some 425D align blemished blades from grandrc that were a joke they were so bad 10 wrapps with black tape. they want me to send them back and pay shipping thats like sending good money for bad blades.

oh and who said align is coming out with wood core CF?. there already here i know the align 425D and F are wood core

GOOD FG and Carbon blades don't need balancing. Caveat Emptor.

Agreed but if they're out they should be sent back plain and simple. When I pay for balanced blades that's what I'm getting or they go back.

thats what sucks about mail order they want me to pay shipping and i wont. they fly fine so when someone comments on hey whats with all the tape ill tell them to staty away from grandrc. bummer to i liked ed.

Wooden core 600 CF blades will be nice, mayeb they wont throw the weight like the older blades.

The 'D' Blades are already very good and I have not read of a single set throwing weights. I still prefer Radix for their Auto performance though.

the 600a blade i had go that exploded my heli sticks with ya

I have been flying funtechs on my 600 ever since.
