...and people like you opposing the war on our homefront and in the media.
Yup, blame those that didn't want you to go to war in the first place for "loosing it" - does that constitute "keepin' it real" I wonder.

You throw fuel on the fire and p!ss people off so that the brainwashed swarm to Al Quaida and it's likes and it's not your problem to solve?
We have given the people of Iraq freedom. We are helping them institute democracy. We are rebuilding there infrastructure, building new hospitals, schools and helping to staff those hospitals.

What more can we possibly do? Is Norway helping? Why does Norway have an embassy there? What and when, was the last thing Norway did to improve the living conditions for the Iraqi people?

That's the way you and I see it, sadly enough a lot of others don't. They could live with the Kuwait deal, but not the invasion of Iraq.
(You did destroy quite a lot of infrastructure etc first tho...)
So you don't need to convince me that you're doing a good deed, you need to convince the muslim man in the street everywhere that your intentions are good and that you are not just doing this to secure the oil for yourselves etc...I know your intentions are as good as they get even if I don't always approve of your methods.

We were against going into Iraq. Saying no and then tagging along afterwards after you went in would be pretty lame...if that should be our politic we could just as well leave the decisions to you. You decided to go in without approval as your prez knew best, he decided to make a mess and then it's a bit strange to demand that others move in to tidy up...or yap at them for not wanting to. We have an embassy there to have diplomatic relations which we have had for years.

FYI as far as I know we are at 5th place or something on military spendings per capita. Israel is of course at the top followed by China/you and some others. Quite a bit of that are spent on our troops working for the UN tidying up the mess others have made...currently Afghanistan is our biggest involvment, but we have been in Korea, Kongo, Lebanon and Kosovo too, however we usually concentrate on relief aid rather than guns...
