WK-2401 tx batteries...

What batteries does the WK-2401 tx accept..?
The Walkera PDF says
"1.2V x 8 Ni-Cd (9.6V 600mAh) or 1.5V x 8 AA dry cell"

So, I take it this means I can't use my AA 2650mAh NiMH rechargeables..?
What do you guys use to power your tx?
Or am I grasping the wrong end of the stick entirely?

You can use whatever AA battery you like including your NIMH

I guess the note about Ni-Cad batteries is just for charging batteries *inside* the tx using a cable...

I just happened to have a couple 1100mAh 3S lipos w/ JST connectors on them already. Those plugged right into the Tx and would fit under the cover.
I have a Walkera 2801 and 2401 Tx.
