12FG mode1 and mode 2

Are there any major differences between the mode 1 and mode 2 apart from stick orientation as i have noticed that in some stores that the mode 1 is about a $100 less than mode 2.

As far as I know there are no differences. I fly mode 1 but could only get a mode 2 set when they were released in the UK last year. Simple change described in the manual and I was good to go.
