You know you are too SMART when you focus on people that are too DUMB to be around you! Yep, your intelligence is just a waste of your time to be shared!

Fortunatly I love to read, even bad translations because they are challenging and even sometime hilarious. I even read the instructions that do not pertain to whatever I am using.
As for the original question of this thread, No, it does not bother me and I will answer if I happen to be knowledgeable about the question.
...What does irritate me is the subject header without any info, like;
"Please help".
I open the thread and find it is a question on specific model I have no experience with.
.
This would bring better help: "Please help with trex450 setup."
I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

May be some noobs will read this tread and decide for them selves to go and read the instructions and try it for them selves.I don't mind helping any one but there are limits to my patients.I was at our club the other day and this guy asked me to help him out and the first thing i asked him was do u have the manual with you.It was programming a esc and i hadn't used this type before so need the book of words to use as a reference. But when i told him i couldnt help with out it he got all huffy as if it was my fault he doesn't know how to do some thing. There is nothing better in life (well may be)than
when you learn something new for your self, when that little light goes off in your head when you finally get some thing is a real joy . And its even better when you have done it for you self.
I know I used lock tight why did my head explode

Myself, I won't consider owning or operating *ANYTHING* without reading the manual. Period . . . . There is just no reason not to! And frankly, while some of the radio manuals are someone incomplete - IE, they tell you how to do stuff, but give you no idea why you might want to do it, or when, I have yet to find one that was not at least a bit helpful.

Honestly, how can anyone claim to be able to get 100% of the capabilities of their gear if they refuse to learn how to operate it?

It just boggles my mind . . . .

I loved the warning sticker that came on my e-multigov

It was something like this:

"Warning this device is intended to govern rpm through your ESC. Your ESC needs to be programmed. If you don't know how to program your ESC, please return this unit to the dealer and ask for a full refund.

There aren't many companies out there that will have the balls to say something like that but I bet all think about it

Doesn't bother me. I have a buddy that learns best by showing him and him trying it a couple of times. Some people aren't conventional learners with books. Some prefer using a computer and the rest by experiencing it first hand. I've worked with people in my past that were the best at what they do and couldn't read.

I guess one has to have patience and tolarance to get anything done. We are all created different in capacity and all that.
Take an early Helicommand instruction manual in English. The more I read it the worse it got(then). Now, if it had not been for the folks who post in this forum I would not have gotten to flying my flybarless AP ship today.
I would personally feel guilty if the question I ask has already been addressed to in this forum, because I am a senior heliman. For a newcomer things can be different, they may have the right to be ignorant+lazy+naive+stupid+etc. . .

I don't mind answering questions for those that truely need help and if I know the correct answer. What bothers me is the guys that answer questions that act as if they have flown professional hardcore 3D for many many years and in actuallity can only hover or do forward flight. I see that all the time. Sometimes, you have to be careful who you take advice from. It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!
