Transmitter alarm
As I was flying today a single beep sounded 3 different times throughout my 13 minute 28 second flight. It seemed it only happened about 100 feet from where I was. Also it seemed it happened at about the same spot. My receiver battery showed full on the volt watch prior to the flight and 1/2 charge at the end. My transmitter battery was at 11 volts. This alarm or beep did not happen on my 2 previous flight I did 2 days ago. My manual doesn't address a single beep. Any Ideas? I don't want to be flying along and loose my aircraft due to something stupid I did or didn't do. Guess I should have said I have a Futaba 9CHP radio system, If that helps.

Might be your timer alert. Check to see if it is activated.Ray Fernandez - GUAM

I'm gona hope it might be that. I didn't think I did anything to my transmitter other than go from Sim, I have Phoenix, to Raptor 50 on it. Everything is fully charged ect. I'll just keep it close tomorrow.

Hi brokenwing!! read pg 38 of your manual. It will tell you how to operate the timer. If you have the timer turned to count up it will beep once every miniute . where the model is will never effect or cause a beep on your tx. but depending on how you are flying you may have the up counter turned on and off by the throttle stick position and could cause what you are discribing. a battery alarm will always be a constant beeping until you shut the tx off so i dont believe you have a battery problem to worry about. hope this helps Tom

Thanks Tom. That was it. If you can't tell I'm still learning. I didn't even know about page 38. Anyway was out tonight and sure enough every minute or so. Just a beep. I think I have it right now. Thanks. Man I have got to say, this FF stuff is the greatest. I'm on my 4th tank and just loving it. Not getting cocky though. I still know my limits. The nose in thing is progressing well. I can fly nose in great, just a little touchy on the hover. Tail left and right rock solid. Thew sim this winter is paying for itself. Thanks to ALL. This is the greatest site.

Hi Brokenwing! Glad i could help you out. I have a 12Z that i am still learning more about every day also. Its part of the fun of the hobby! I can see your smile from all the way over here in Ohio so that just makes my time spend here on RR worth the effort. Never hesitate to ask. Good luck and happy flying!!!
