Trimming on flybarless...
I just tested my sceadu with my SK360, just one fast hover, and besides a bit of an adjustment on my gyro(used a new model in my TX) I need to trim it a bit in flight.

Can I use the trims like a normal flybared heli?

I am just wondering, that all. I know I can go back to setup and play with sub trim on the menu, or even adjust the links on the swash, but can I get away with it ?

If it is not in trim than you need to check the setup. Either the cg is off or the swash is not perfectly level. If you use a bubble lever for the swashplate then the helicopter needs to be perfectly level before you start. I use small pieces if thin cardboard under the landing gear.

Also make sure that the transmitter subtrims and main trims are all neutral, and dual rates are 100% when you do the setup.

I now have two helicopters with the SK360 and they both fly with no trim required even on windy days. Once it’s setup it’s sure a lot easier than the old flybar head.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will take the head out and use the bubble level to adjust my swash. I did everything by eye initially.Trex 550 V-BAR, Trex 700 V-BAR, N5-os55VBAR, TREX700E V-BAR /X9503
