Torsion Blades
I have got some Torsion blades for my 700 and to see how well they flew I gave them to 2 of our hardest 3D'ers at the club this weekend to give them a bash for me to see how they performed.

Well they were both shocked by the level performance as they could not fault them during any move. They tracked very well in fast flight, under extreme turns and hard 3D.One of the guys flew them back to back with a very popular and more expensive brand and said the difference between the 2 was very minimal and would certainly use them more.We will continue to bash these weekend after weekend.

Just think that now things have changed over at Torsion that they are well worth considering as the price is good, customer service is platinum and they perform very very well.

A very happy chappy here

I just started using Torsion 600 CF blades on my trex 600N, after 5 flights so far, cyclics felt faster than my previous radix, in tick tocks, engine dont bog as much and energy is retained. In autos however, Radix seems to have abit more lift at the end.

I just tried the 430mm ones on the T500, they are smooth, yet track very well in abrubt moves.
Had to reduce overall pitch to get the same amount of pop.
Love them!

Cant wait to try the 600mm ones.

Thanx!

Same experience for me. Have tried 430mm and 600mm and loved both.

Compared with Radix 600SB and RT610 they seem to auto a bit worse than the RT and on par with 600SB, they seem to be as fast a 600SB with similar pop. The 430mm version were quite faster than SAB an RT I fly.

They are a wide chord blade with wood core.

They are hard to find and I just flew my 430mm 2 times before I crashed

I like the Torsion, it has the less "pop" than the Vblades but still managable for 3D newbies like myself...Too bad it looks not as good as CY. I am a "look" person..

Can someone tell Torsion to make a nicer blades? I will be the first person to get one..

Autos, the torsion cannot be compared to the CY. CY still got the best "float" or lift...!!

HI,

I have a set of Torsions on my 50 and my Pal has a set on his 90. We've had them the same amount of time and we fly pretty regularly.

We have noticed that they are now constantly going out of track and we're chasing the tracking with almost every flight! That's two different helis in two different sizes.

We've swapped blades (I used his 50 Maniac's and he used my 90 Radix's) and the tracking issues went away.

The problem has to be the blades!! Anyone else heard of this?

Thanks
3D?? No - just another input error!!!

Torsions
I have a set of 600mm Torsions myself and really like them...of course I have only flown them 3 times though...lol..

No tracking issues or farting issues to speak of...

I have been hearing a LOT about the Edge blades so I just bought a set of those as well..it will be cool to test though out ..

BTW...I am flying my Torsions on a Roxxter 55 flybarless machine with a 10S setup....it's a rocket ship spinning about 2300rpm's...

I just tried a set of Torsion blades on my Atom 500 tonight. They belong to a buddy and he wanted me to try them until he got his Atom in the air...

Anyway, I usually run Rotortech/Funkey 430's on it. I strapped the Torsion's on and to be perfectly honest I hated them. They seemed very inefficient and heavy as I got a lot of woof and poof in smack maneuvers. Lots of bog and far less pop. I would definitely not recommend them for 3D on a 500 size machine.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter
