Transporting Align Trex 600

Hi, i am planning a trip from the U.S. to Asia and i was wondering if it is possible to take my align trex 600 nitro model. Obviously i will be checking it in but i was wondering if the airline will even accept it because it is a nitro helicopter and a electronic transmitter. Also i am using a duralite lithium ion battery pack for my model and a 2 cell 2500mAH 11.1V 3 Cell Tenergy lipolymer battery for my transmitter. I was wondering if they will allow me to check those in as well. If anyone can help me or give me tips on what to do before attempting to check in my model, transmitter, and batteries.

I packed all my helis, radio, parts, starter, etc in a golf case from LAX to Japan with no problems. I had everything except fuel and extra lipo batteries for my electrics. They didn't bother to open up the case but just x-ray it. No questions asked.

I would completely drain out the fuel tank of fuel and run the engine dry. Just incase they examine the heli.

In Japan, they ask what was the content and that black square like object when the x-ray it. It was my starter. I didn't have to open the case either.

I would call or find out about your airline though. Most likely it will be ok.
