You can fit the 9257 gear set in the 9650 , that speeds it up somewhat ! The 9650 was one of the few digital options a few years back , that's why it was used , but as Richardmid1 said , it is slow for a tail servo .

I know it isnt the belt because I can see the servo moving causing it to wag

Are you certain that you are not just seeing the servo move trying to correct the movement (and apparently over correcting) rather than the servo causing the wag ? It does sound like the electronic/mechanical gain is too high .At the end of the day , it gets dark .

Thanks for all the help guys I got it fixed, I had to move closer in on the servo arm and lower the gain more than what i thought I would have to but it fly's great now. Well that is until i crashed it into the side of my house today lol. Had to replace the main shaft, feathering shaft, main blades and flybar WEEEEE!
