Best of luck in your recovery Benny,
I've been in this hobby about a year and have read about Justin and seen him fly.

After recently reading one of your stories,
I have to say he's a lucky boy,
I can't even imagine a better father.
Goblin! where have you been all my life?

Thanks for the concern guys. As soon as I got hit, I forgot about getting hit and started on the recovery.

The cute doctor from Manhattan, NY made me feel much better as well.
I did complain to her about steroid treatment for the cornea inflammation though. I told her that is going to get in the way of my future career as a major league baseball player.

With the steroid drops, the haziness is dissipating quickly. I still have a lazy iris on that eye and the tear makes the pupil look egg shaped. But, I don't doubt that bum iris is going to work again.

I just hope I can get back to flying right a way.

Since I'm all well and on my way to recovery, please pray that JC will not have any emotional scars from this accident. That is much much harder to heal from completely.

Thanks again!

Again, wishing you a speedy recovery, Ben.
As disappointing as it is to ponder, this is a large reminder of what can happen, and practicing safe maneuvers and safe recoveries should be observed always. We just need to be precautious within reason and expect the unexpected.

As someone mentioned before, Mark lives in CA and has to drive back from Indiana...granted he's probably home by now but I'm sure there are other more pressing matters after being away from home for a week (as I can attest, I still haven't sent you 90 pics yet )...getting there. Hang in there guys!

I'm really sorry to bring this up but I want to see what you all
think....... Yes, J. Robinson is freakin awesome but did anyone notice that his flight was 90 percent the same thing as the routine in L.Vagas that he won with. This really bugs me! That should be a downfall. I think that should have been noticed by a lot more of you. I loved that flight in L.V. so I watched the video 100 times. It is exactly the same flight. I just don't think that is fair. No doubt, he is an amazing pilot, but...... that is shady IMO.

How so? If his was judged the best routine and he got the most points? Is it written somewhere that a pilot has to change his style for each competition ?

You are exactly right I shouldn't say its not fair. I just feel that one shouldn't do the same routines in comps. Its like going to a magic show and seeing the same tricks over and over again. I just feel that he should have been more creative for the reputation that he has. That's all, I just wanted to see if anyone of you noticed it as well and what you think about the sit.

If you go to a concert in Vegas and then to see the same band in Atlantic City a month later I bet you would hear the same songs. Would the A.C. show not be any good?Signature

Nothing wrong with flying the same routine. That is probably the best decision made. Flying the same routine even better verse changing it over a short period of time and making mistakes in the way.
