The rave is not an entry level machine.. it requires ALOT more setup and attention to detail than the Aligns.
very Similar to a Synergy or a Vibe or any other real high end heli. The problem with the average 450 pilot is they dont understand that and rush through the build and then have issues. The rave not only Autos. it autos like a 30 size nitro..but thats is very little to do with why the rave outflies the Pro hands down.
its more stable by 10000X percent but when asked for performance it delivers. The only other bird even in the same league quality wise is the MA Furion and is also more of an advanced build than other 450s.Mine is listed with pics for sale.. or tradeI guess being down here in CY land ( Texas) I have never seen or heard of all the issues that you guys have seen with Raves.
come down here and they are on every pilots table during funflys Aligns are becoming alot more rare in the 450 size down here at least. |

US,I wasn't disputing you liking the Rave more. Just gave my opinion like you gave yours. As for higher end helis, I have a Logo 500. I feel not only is it the best flying heli in its class along with the 600, they both go together very easily and setup with ease too. So I am not sure if I fully agree with your statement on higer end helis needing setup and attention to detail. As for the Trex450 pro, this still remains to be seen for me. Mine wont arrive from Helidirect until Wednesday. I wish I new you were selling yours I would have bought it my friend. |

That is what I really dont understand, if the Rave is a high end heli then why would it require more setup and attention to detail?! What are you paying extra for?! Put a Scorpion -6 in a 450 Pro which im guessing most people use in the Rave on 3s and I bet you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.60% of the time, it works every time! |

Alan Szabo Jr. is an awesome RC heli pilot. However, with that in mind, it seems he can fly any properly setup heli like he did in that video. I've watched videos of him flying the SE the same way (before he was on Align's payroll). I have a few T-REXs and a couple of them are the SE, is the PRO "all that" or is it only just the latest and greatest compared to the SE?BalbsP.S. I would like to see a video of him comparing the PRO with the previous models (or models from other brands for that matter) discussing which one handles better at doing certain maneuvers or something (flight characteristics) rather than mechanical features. |

Me too balbs !! I'm no Alan Szabo-- not even close, but I have flown both the SE and the Pro and I thought there was a difference in precision. Alot more depends on the pilot than alot of people realize. There's always a better "something" out there--cars- heli's whatever but its what you do with what you got that really counts IMO. |

sorry guys but the pro is more superior to the se................im no alan szab ether but a good flyer never the less................
i have had 2 of the 450 se's and yes at the time they felt good but could blow out at any time and no were near the setups of the professionals................but this new pro is very good and dialed in............using all stock that came with it you can go inverted at full throttle and do a full circuit with out the twitchieness of the 450 se................not putting the se down much but the pro walks all over it.............only because it has evolve.............its like jumping from a raptor 50 to a trex 600 giving you the WOW factor......my 2 cents regards helinelly...ps thanks for the comms guysif it broken.....glue the bast#$d...keep flying..i tell the wife my crashes cost £20! works for me |

Like mine sofar. Was abit disappointed that the eleavator servo didn't line up with the mounting holes on the aluminum blocks. I had to make an easy mod.No, the blocks were not upside down . And, it took me a while to get the tail rotor not to bind into the case (S9257/401). |

I love my 450 Pro. I decked it out with the best electronics and I'm running 4S power. With the TP CF blades, it's noticably more stable than my V2. It's quicker, more precise, and the GP 750 holds rock solid.I just wish my V2 was still worth something...As for the rave, the only Rave I've seen fly was by CY himself. Some sort of mechanical problem sent the heli diving into the runway. It looked real good right up to that point though. I'm sure it flies awesome w/ the 350s and 4S, but it's just got too many parts and the frames look extremely fragile comparted to the Pro frames. The only thing I'm worried about with the Pro is the strength of the headblock. It seems the headblocks getting bent in crashes are very common. I wouldn't consider that a common replacement part on T450s, but it might just be one on the Pro. |
