Does this new fuel magnet need to be soked with fuel allways as the old black one?????
I do not have a pressurised system.

I have had the white ones for two years, not so new but yes keep them soaked in fuel.

Keep them wet. I have had the same white one for over a year and still working great. Friends have had them go brittle quickly from leaving the tank dry.

Like half a tank wet or just so the filter is wet and a slight level of fuel? Im worried about water and rust because of the methanol.
