So on her first flight of the day, she put her high in the sky for a big stall turn. She did so many piros on the way down, I'd have to take my shoes off to count them all!

Well as you can imagine, she got close to the ground and gave it way too much collective and cyclic and things got ugly. Probably stalled the blades, and she went in hard! It's pretty cool though - the crater she created can be seen from space!

The 2mm Rotorworkz G10 frames didn't even break! INCONCEIVABLE!

She dug her hole with the right side of the heli, and the landing gear and the bottom plate snapped. But that was about it for the main frame. I'm going to double up on the bottom plate for the rebuild like some people do.

Anyway - in the rebuild I want to make this heli as stable as possible. Not slow per se, just more stable. She flew my hot-dog 600N afterword and did not like it at all. So one of the things I'm going to change out in the rebuild is the paddles. Who makes the heaviest, most stable 3mm paddles???

Thanks. That's also what I was thinking. Do they make another color for that paddle weight?

not that I'm aware of.

Whites are the heaviest, then the reds, then the blues, and greens

Aren't the stock black TT paddles (i.e. the ones for the Titan 50) the heaviest ones?

I second the weights, then you can make quick adjustments if her flying style changes....

Find a buddy local who is flying CY Stubz with no weights, and use those weights to slow it down even more.

She's ready to Rock!

So as you can see, I added some heavier, white TT paddles.

She now has the following "upgrades":

Heavier, white TT paddles.
Yellow-to-orange fade on boom.
Replaced tired 9254 tail servo with hi speed/hi torque Hitec servo.
2-2mm bottom plates epoxied together.
Radix blades.
